After 1927 cyclone, the reconstruction and the extension of the town were taking a very important place here in Tamatave. Some Indians families who are Bohra community, I mean Indian muslims dwelt in this area and established their commerces on this rue. Now, this rue is still very busy and count a numerous of Indians shops. Before, this rue was called Colonel Billard rue around 1920. But Billard was becoming General later so the rue took the new title. So let’s go to the big market
