Mananara-Nord beach

Mananara-Nord beach

Few weeks before the famous « Tsola be » festival in Ste Marie: one whale was died along the Mananara-Nord sea side. At this time, many people are really interested to see how big this very large sea mammal is. Its length was 8m long. I guess almost of them there have never seen such a very big sea creature. Then one problem was coming out , the people ain’t satisfied of only looking at him without knowing how taste is he. They simply ate the sea mammal without asking : « What is the cause of its death ? » Fortunately, none of them get sick after having enjoyed to eat him. Thanks to God.

Foulpointe- Fire

Foulpointe- Fire

Actually, many student are in holiday. Then, a large number of the family spends their holiday outside of the place where they really live. In Madagascar, Foulpointe is among of the best place to go for relaxing. In there, the landscapes, fresh air, a very beautiful beach, …, bring the holiday makers a new energy for their lives. It’s the most attracting place in Atsinanana region. It’s a tourist town. But let’s say: « Foulpointe needs your hands now,  S.O.S Foulpointe.» This last Monday, more than 500 houses, 5 cars were on fire. That’s caused 2800 of people are homeless now, 2 are died and six other are seriously burned. You probably have heard that the H.A.T members leaded by Andry N Rajoelina went there to see what happen exactly and tried to listen their voices only just the day after the disaster. Hefoulpointe-incendie-01 helped them to many different kind of needs. Very big thanks to him and to his team as well. But I think you’re more than welcoming to help Foulpointe because they are still suffering to much now. Despite this very huge problem in Foulpointe, please don’t cancel your program to visit this very nice town. Lot of hotel are still there to receive you and indeed almost of the beautiful thing are still there as well for you and I’m pretty sure that you’ll enjoy there as usual. By the way the THB tour will take place there at the end of this week. So please, come around and enjoy Foulpointe.

WhaleAfter Foulpointe, Ste Marie also is a very nice island and has a very interesting thing to discover. For example at the end of this month, in there, there will be one festival called « Tsola be ». It’s a new cultural event to promote the tourism sector. It going to be one unforgettable moment for you because you’ll discover the real Ste Marians « Midôla » in that time and also you will see by your own eyes the whales playing along its very beautiful beach. What happened in Mananara-Nord prove that they are already a full of whales around there and they are ready to give you a very nice show. Your dream will become true. So please don’t miss your chance to assist this even more than special event. I’m sure you won’t regret to go there. crisis. What is your Malagasy favorite singer ? Mima ? or Jerry Marcos ? or Rabaz ? or Who exactly? What are you still waiting for to pack your laguages ? Cool, I love it

Almost one week now, it still takes a very important place in some newspaper here in Tamatave and even across Madagascar as well,  such as Midi Madagascar. I do hope that it will continue over the years to come. The campus of the University of Tamatave becomes greener because of BUEC. Please have a look and read the good thing what we did.

BUEC in The Gazetin’i Toamasina newspaper

The Gazetin’i Toamasina newspaper expressed their point of view about BUEC and what they did last sunday afternoon and what they are plainning to do for the best future of the campus of the University environment.

BUEC and the environment

DSCN5454Barikadimy’s United English Club (BUEC) is the only one club which helps the University students of Tamatave to improve their knowledge in English. We have a meeting every Sunday afternoon. It’s the only one time in a week when the members can meet up and share knowledges one another because in BUEC there isn’t neither teachers nor students, I mean we’re all teachers and the students at the same time. Since for 2003 when BUEC was born in the campus of the University of Tamatave until now, this club is the most famous BUECplace for the English language learners. As we know that “Practice makes perfect”. In this club we practice to speak in English non-stop. So let’s talk in English with BUEC. Get out from your shell and I’m sure that you’ll enjoy over here because as the expression said “the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence”.

DSCN5429Actually, how many species of plants, animals, birds and insects are disappeared because of the climate change. This world is in danger. Nowadays there is many people don’t drink clean water, the air is polluted and the land is deserted. To face that problems, BUEC took a part of the protection of the environment in Tamatave. As an English club for the University students, we gave an example to all the students at the University of Tamatave of how should we behaved to face this problem yesterday afternoon (Sunday, August, 02nd , 2009) instead of having a meeting. We planted 61 feet of small trees in the campus. As I said, from this day we’re going to help this world to fight against this problem. We’re going to protect the environment. So this one was only the for starting and the first step because we want to make sure that we can manage it before acting. And also we want to let people knows that BUEC is alive, BUEC exists, BUEC helps you and BUEC is always thinking of the best of this world: LOVE, PEACE and HEALTH. The first step was successful and now we’re thinking for the next action, it’s gonna be outside of the campus. We do hope that the mayor will be agreed and allowed us to do the same thing of what we did in the campus.

DSCN5403Now I would like to profit to tell you that our club is open for everybody who want to visit us, to be member and why not for those who want to help us. I insure you that you won’t regret to choose BUEC. I would like also to thank Mrs. Yan (Ivoloina park) who gave us the small trees for free, and the President of the University of Tamatave who allowed us to fulfil our dream. We don’t forget also to thank all of the journalists who came to see and to film what we did yesterday and indeed special thanks for Mr. Chaplain who always assisted us to all we did. He is like our couch. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!!
